Fundraiser for Devastated Families

A fundraising event has raised over £1000 in support of two tragic Fleetwood families.

In October, The Ship pub on Warren Street held an all-day charity fundraiser for the families of Jordan Brunt and Chris Murray. A popular gardener for the local council, Jordan died in August at just 24 years of age, apparently taking his own life.

Chris remains in hospital after falling from a balcony at a concert and sustaining serious head injuries.

The proceeds of the day are to be split equally between the two families, and represent valuable support during these difficult times. The event featured live performances by local bands Pink Torpedos, The Jeps, Velocity, Dragstar and Freeloader.
